We are dependent on an efficient pipeline network for water and drainage. We need clean water for our homes for drinking and food preparation and for other things like washing and hygiene.

The wastewater system is important

Wastewater must be safely transported to treatment plants. Blockages in pipelines can cause leaking wastewater, which can damage the environment and cause contamination of freshwater.


If the water cycle doesn’t work, the community can face major problems and costs.


Think about this when you are choosing products to renovate your pipes!


Choose a thin liner – there are no disadvantages!

The wastewater system is dimensioned for a certain maximum flow. This depends on the pipes cross-sectional area, gradient and the type of surface.

When you line pipes the diameter will reduce. You should therefore choose as thin a liner as possible with a ring stiffness that can cope with the applicable loads. In this way you achieve minimal reduction of the cross-sectional area and your maximum flow can be maintained.

Inpipe’s fibreglass-reinforced liners are among the thinnest on the market, from approx. 3 mm up to 12 mm, and fulfil your requirements for ring stiffness and lifetime. We know – we’ve tested them!





Strive to achieve a minimal gap, it’s always better!

When installing liners, a gap can be created between existing pipe and the liner. This gap simply consists of air. Extraneous groundwater, roots, soil and other substances can be compressed into and transported along this gap. Your pipe system risks not being tight.

The gap also impinges upon the inner diameter of the pipe. A larger gap also negatively affects the liner’s ability to absorb external forces as it receives less support from its surroundings.

Do you want a tight, strong pipe system?

With Inpipe’s liners, the gap is minimal: <0.1% of the diameter. You get a strong, tight pipe system with a high flow. Just like you wanted!

In the lower image on the left you can see an example of what can happen when the gap is large. Water runs between existing pipe and the liner, which is not the aim.


Thin, strong and flexible liners

All of our liners are manufactured of fibreglass-reinforced polyester, which is well known for its high resistance, elastic modulus and lifetime. They can be compressed over 30% and return to their original form when the pressure is released. They can cope with major bending forces and tensile forces without failing. The reinforcement means that they are not brittle, and can cope with major impacts and shocks.

In its unhardened condition, fibreglass-reinforced polyester is extremely formable and is dimensionally stable when hardened. The liner adapts itself closely to the existing pipe and does not shrink after hardening. You get a minimal gap in your renovated pipes.

Well-known material

You undoubtedly know several products where the aim is to achieve low weight, high resistance and flexibility and which therefore use fibreglass-reinforced polyester. Some examples are boats, skis, rotor blades for wind turbines and shock absorber systems in cars.
